is an alum from the Epsilon Chapter at Western Michigan University. He holds a master’s degree in Education from Grand Valley State University and a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Western Michigan. He is currently the Executive Director at La Casa De Amistad in South Bend, Indiana.
Sam has held various fraternal leadership positions and is a former President of Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity, Inc. He serves as a general member on the Board of Trustees focusing primarily on fundraising activities.
is from Detroit, MI. Music and sports were a catalyst for his entrepreneurial passion and led him to pursue a Bachelor’s of Science in Sports Management and Entrepreneurship at Bowling Green State University; where the Nu Beta chapter of Sigma Lambda Beta is located. Inspired by the strong bond among brothers and ability to make a direct impact on a young organization, Tim initiated with the chapter on April 7th, 2007.
In 2009, Brother Tim transitioned from operations with the Professional Golf Association to the Director of Chapter Services for the National Executive Office at Sigma Lambda Beta. Working for the brotherhood brought meaning to his life in such an integral way. In 2011 he went on to receive his Masters of Education at Iowa State University. Since then, brother Tim has helped in the scaling of organizations such as music/entertainment companies, social entrepreneurship initiatives, and education technology startups. One of those initiatives was helping to scale a social impact incubator for Sigma Lambda Beta Alumni called Consortium for Public Profit with a small group of Alumni around the country. Currently Brother Tim serves as an Assistant Director of the Career Center at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.
Tim is responsible for helping with the foundation’s communication initiatives.
James L. Hayes
is an alum from the Gamma Chapter at Illinois State University. He holds a master’s degree in educational leadership and a bachelor’s degree in secondary education. He is pursuing his Ed.D in educational leadership from the University of Illinois. He is currently employed by the Springfield Public School System.
James is one of the original trustees of the Sigma Lambda Beta Education Foundation. He is responsible for the Foundation’s programming.
is an alumnus and founding member of the Omicron Chapter at Iowa State University of Science and
Technology. He holds a Bachelor of Liberal Studies in Sciences, Humanities, and Foreign Languages, and a Bachelor of Arts in
Spanish (Literature and Culture). He currently works at The University of Iowa Center for Student Involvement & Leadership.
Roy has served in several fraternal leadership positions including Vice President of Academics from 2002 to 2006, and he is currently responsible for scholarships.
is an alum from Alpha Chapter at the University of Iowa and is one of the original founders
of Sigma Lambda Beta Fraternity. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and a minor in Computer Science. He currently works for State Farm Insurance.
Ric has held various fraternal positions including President, Vice President of Programming and Finance. He was instrumental in establishing the
Sigma Lambda Beta’s Education Foundation in 2002 and served as the Chair until 2009. He served as a general member on the Board of Trustees from 2010 to 2015, and once again took on the chair position in 2016.
